Neon lights glow through the science of excited atoms. When electricity passes through a sealed tube of neon gas, electrons jump to higher energy levels. As they return, they release energy as vibrant light, creating dazzling displays in cities worldwide.

Sketchbook Pt1

2018 with Tandem Education Part I

In 2017, I began filing stuck in life and couldn’t get moving on to pursue various passions. I just wanted to explore photography after leaving a BTEC Diploma in Art and Design at Central Bedfordshire College in 2014. I had dropped out of a foundation degree and lost myself in a downward spiral.

It was as if photography was the only thing in my life I could just about afford to do and as part of.

The course I attended workshops and community meet ups in London where I would travel from

Leicester.

Assignment 1 was to produce a series of portraits. Writing and keeping a logbook, when I look back now I realise a photo logbook would be good to keep track of development during workshops as a way of journalism, similarly as a way of using X formerly Twitter today.

Writing about artist research that I enjoyed delving into the lost artists like

Exploring portraits of historic artists who continue to impact our present day despite all our instagratification needs being met by the likes of everything being social or digital context, it’s the most simple gestures of satisfaction that remains inspiring for todays techno age. Where these formal education apprenticeships of former masters training by long hand are out the window and a round of freshly manicured podcasts uploaded to YT and hashtag ready fuel the conversation to the everyday.

Objective Thinking

There is a keyword that keeps coming up in my work when I look back and that is inspiration.

Inspiration in the act of doing research and building knowledge of artists banks to fall into unknown depths Appeal to the ‘influence of my own progress. The art of the story that becomes the story is the story. Of the becoming.

The decay of when things are tired in society seems to conjure up reclusive artists breaking out into their anarchy of misused identity like that of Banksy. Drudging. Questioning our own rules… breaking our own banks of ill health. Because we neglected ourselves.

HND Diploma in Creative Printmaking COGC 2021

After the photography finished, I went onto Printmaking. Didn’t really know what I was getting into.

Until I tried and I really liked it. I wanted to get into letterpress actually. After doing a brief photobook for myself after finishing the diploma as a keepsake.

It was a two year diploma and on the second year everything seemed to change due to the illness that set about a complete havoc in society. Thank god for zoom… and crypto.

October 2022

Using fiverr I had found a staking dapp (Decentralised) app freelancer to help collaborate on a project to produce a kind of early beta stage web3 press as I loved printmaker press studios after visiting Alan Kitchen Studio Press in London back in 2017. It was what I was focused on doing and I really wasn’t sure about how to use everything together all at once type of thing. I wanted to concentrate on blockchain if I wanted to pursue further education. So we created the Dapp based it on another blog I was developing and concentrating on producing content to help artists new to crypto and web3 and even the meta verse. As part of that blog,
